When you visit your Ulster stockist to order your carpet it is important that you have correctly measured your room to determine how much carpet you require.
The simplest way to do this is in 3 easy steps.
- Draw a diagram of your room, remembering to show odd shapes like chimney breasts or landings.
- Measure the length of your room first (at the longest point)
- Measure the width of your room (at the widest point)
- Measure the width of your room (at the narrowest point)
Use our handy calculator to find out how many square feet of carpet you require.*
Bring along your measurements and diagram to your local Ulster stockist who will be able to place your order.
From this diagram your carpet retailer will be able to determine how many square metres of carpet you need without the need for joins or seams. If you are in doubt, many retailers offer a measuring service and will be more than happy to help.
*Our calculator will give a guideline as to how many square metres of carpet you require in order to help you estimate cost. It will not take into account odd shaped rooms, chimney breasts or alcoves. You should use the longest length and widest width when using the calculator.
