The Ulster Carpets team enjoyed a busy few days at The Flooring Show, Harrogate.

This year we were excited to unveil our luxurious new Danish-inspired cut and loop collection terrœn.
Composed of 80% wool and 20% nylon terrœn features four colourways and six designs. The designs are a reflection of familiar surfaces found in both urban and rural settings, from concrete castings to forest floors - the range is all about creating pattern with texture. With a neutral colour palette terrœn is perfect for modern, calm interiors. terrœn is the latest addition to our cut and loop collection, manufactured in Denmark by Danfloor (An Ulster Group Company).
The new colours added to some of our most popular ranges including York Wilton, Braeburn, Tazmin and Country House Collection's Beaumont were also on display, highlighting the shift to more modern colourways.
This year the show had a strong focus on interior fashion and trends. A special networking event for interior designers was held on Tuesday, including a chance to meet our carpet designers, followed by a 30 minute Trend Briefing from Laura Greenwood of trend forecasters, Scarlet Opus...read more.
We were thrilled to finish off a fantastic show by taking home three Gold Awards in the following:
- Fusion won the Innovation Gold Award in the Design category of The National Flooring innovation Awards 2018
- Watercolours Mineral Alchemy won the Residential Woven Carpet category in the Wool Carpet and Rug Awards in association with British Wool
- Grand Central Hotel project won Commercial Woven Carpet Design Installation of the Year in the Wool Carpet and rug Awards 2018 in association with British Wool
