Organisational Development Manager

Description:
Reporting to and working closely with the HR Director, your role will be to work across all areas of the business to drive change, employee engagement and a learning culture and to ensure the right systems, procedures and technology are in place to support the overall goals of the business.

Main Tasks:

Work with people across all levels and departments to gain a thorough understanding of the business, its structure, systems and processes.
Develop and implement a strategy to deliver an employee engagement and well-being programme.
Initiate and manage a learning culture by conducting a training needs analysis from top down and prepare appropriate learning and leadership programmes for each level and functional area of the business.
In conjunction with developing the learning culture, ensure company-wide continuous performance management.
Coach and mentor managers so that they can effectively manage the performance of their teams.
Conduct an external market analysis around reward and recognition and utilise the findings.
Review all HR policies and company procedures to ensure they meet current legislation and business needs.
Work across the business to contribute to the development of systems and processes to ensure maximum efficiency.
Work with and support the HR team from a generalist HR perspective and ensure collaboration within the function.

Knowledge/Experience

A degree in a related discipline
A professional qualification in an HR related discipline, organisational development, training or coaching would be preferred
Previous experience of managing organisational development, learning and development and employee engagement
A solid background of experience within HR
International HR experience would be beneficial particularly around employment legislation
Ability to initiate change programmes
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels to ensure business objectives are met
Excellent coaching, mentoring and facilitation skills
Ability to implement a culture of employee engagement
Ability to get the best from people through developing a culture of learning, performance and engagement
Commercial focus
Understanding of the workings of a family business with global success
Collaborative and engaging working style and approach to people
